Washington University physician serves on AAP executive committee for urology

Paul Austin, MD, FAAP, a professor of surgery at Washington University School of Medicine, is a member of the 2015 executive committee of the Section of Urology of the American Academy of Pediatrics. The committee serves in a consulting capacity to the AAP Board of Directors to make recommendations for educational programs, policy statements and other actions on matters relating to the urological care of infants, children, adolescents and young adults.

Dr. Austin is a diplomat of the American Board of Urology with subspecialty certification in pediatric urology. He is director of pediatric urology research at the School of Medicine and sees patients at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, where he specializes in treating bladder obstruction, composite urinary reservoir, incontinence in children and congenital abnormalities.
