Coplen named to executive council of pediatric urology society
Douglas E. Coplen, MD, a specialist in pediatric and fetal urology, has been named to the executive council of The Society for Pediatric Urology. The non-profit society promotes pediatric urology, appropriate clinical practice and education as well as exchanges between practitioners involved in the treatment of genitourinary disorders in children.
Coplen is an associate professor of surgery in the Division of Urologic Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine and director of pediatric urology at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. He also is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology with subspecialty certification in pediatric urology.
